PathWay's technical support technicians have been ever so patient with me, as a new computer user. I have called the business that I purchased my computer from, and feel I am just a sale to them, not the homey-fuzzy feeling they projected. If not for PathWay's technical support help I would never have put my fingers on the computer again. Also, the billing department was a gem to work with. I made a call to ask about my account balance, and instead of being told to please push 852 buttons for the correct department, I got a real person who was able to help me on the spot, and my account was corrected to my favor. Fearing they won't get their money back for the long term service they paid for, they are staying with it but are unhappy... I have been a PathWay user for 3 years. I always get excellent support and service. I had a bad modem and PathWay installed a new one compatible with their equipment and I have not had a problem since. I am a High School Computer teacher and have recommended PathWay to all of my students at school. Some of them have signed up (did not know at the time about the discount I could have got) and have received the student discount. I think that this is a great service of PathWay and I do not see this perk at any other ISP. Keep up the great service!

When I purchased my new computer in Febuary, I was anxious to get on line and signed up with ISP Management out of Alma, Michigan. I was told that they were the internet provider for my area. I was given a three page instruction packet and told to follow the directions. This was not an easy chore for a real novice. I cannot begin to describe the problems I had trying to get hooked up to the internet. Customer service meant calling a technican who rarely returned my calls in less that 3 to 4 hours; sometimes taking as long as 24 hours. I had to take my hard drive to their Alma office and leave it for them to hook me up. I came back the next day and still not hooked up. They finally sent a service technican to my house and after two weeks I was finally on line. Even after all of this I still continued to have intermittent problems that seemed to take forever to correct.A co-worker told me about Pathway and I decided to give them a chance. They handed me a disk and told me to follow the simple prompts. I did this and was on line in a few minutes. I was totally amazed. You would have to experience a poor internet provider to realize just how good the PathWay Internet Services really is but I can personally attest to that in a very big way.
