GRAND RAPIDS, MI — February 26th, 2003 — PathWay Marks 7 years as a Premier West Michigan Internet Service Provider

PathWay Internet Services, a full service Internet service provider headquartered In Greenville, Michigan, is set to begin its 8th year as one of the area's leading suppliers of Internet services. With offices in Greenville and Grand Rapids, PathWay's network backbone extends North to Big Rapids, East to Ionia, South of Grand Rapids, and West along the shoreline. What began in 1996 as a desire to provide Internet services in rural areas where existing ISP's saw no market, has bulged into a true force in West Michigan's highly competitive technology services industry. Boasting roughly 10,000 customers, PathWay provides not only residential Internet access in 90 communities, but offers the full range of business services; from commercial grade dedicated bandwidth to Network Consulting, Web Development and state of the art Web Hosting Services.

In an economy which for the past several years has marked the failure of innumerable communications and technology firms, PathWay has demonstrated a remarkably consistant growth and profitibilty track record. As Horace Demmink, CEO and co-founder of the company explains, "I think the key to the company's success has been our ability to differentiate ourselves from the competition. ISP's all 'sell' the same Internet. PathWay has always focused on the quality of the service — both technologically and with regards to customer service." He further explains that the PathWay corporate culture has never lost the "small town, corner store" atmosphere which helped launch the business in Greenville in 1996. "I think people appreciate that — that you can call with a five dollar billing question, and wind up on the phone with our head of our finance department."

What's next for PathWay? Well, according to Demmink, "The important thing to remember in technology services is that while the technology seems to change daily, the business model doesn't. You always balance what's possible with what's reliable, in demand, and potentially profitable. In other words, we have the expertise, but we rely exclusively on our customers to tell us how to apply it."
